Mr. Laznovsky graduated from Port Isabel High School in 2011. He received an academic scholarship with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, that covered the cost of his entire undergraduate education. He attended the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. While at UTRGV, he held the title of co-principal trumpet for 4 consecutive years. He also made the Dean’s List every semester and graduated with honors.
Mr. Laznovsky began his teaching career here at Santa Rosa ISD as the Middle School Band Director in 2016. After 4 years, he was selected as the Director of Bands for Santa Rosa ISD.

Mr. Perez has served as a band director/choir director for Santa Rosa Independent School District for over 20 years. He has served our music department at every level and campus. He is an alumnus of Santa Rosa High School and graduate of vocal and instrumental music degree from Texas A&M-Kingsville. Mr. Perez has also been the director of the color guard and winter ensemble.
